I have a new banner! What do you think?
She wrote... in the middle of an earthquake!

Oh good... it stopped! Earthquakes always make me dizzy. Especially when the vase of Heliconias infront of me start dancing of their own accord. Takes a moment to figure out what's going on.

Catherine, I grew up in southern California where earthquakes were a very common occurrence - so I can relate to dancing flowers in vases!
And the new banner is bee-you-tee-us, in such a quiet, old world way. Did you make it yourself? I really have to do something about mine (so boring)...
Yes, I love the new banner!
We had an earthquake here in the eastern UK a few years ago, but I'm afraid I slept through it. What actually woke me up was my husband catapulting himself out of bed shouting 'the bed moved! the bed moved! the house shook!' I'm kind of glad I missed it, really.
love the new banner and the heliconias. not so the quake.
i like the new banner, seems quiet for you.
experienced a quake in turkey once. a small one. all the ants acme out of the ground at once.
very soft & subtle but I sense more exuberance from you. Do you have a secret up your sleeve?
We had a tiny shaker here once. I looked down on our pool from the upper deck and saw it making like a bowl of jello, then I threw up on my feet. You could not PAY me enough to live in California.
nice!
old soft cloth-page feel
=)
