It's been so long...

I know, I have been away for such a long time. But I'm trying to sneak in now and again and check out what's happening out there in bloglandia. You have all been so busy!

I've been busy too!

Eben came and went. Our time with him passed all too quickly. He was here for a week but it was great to see him after a two year absence. Who knows when we'll get to be together again.

Nilo hugging Eben.

A rare picture of us all together.

My boys ❥

Shortly after Eben left, my design partner Megan Houseberg arrived. We have spent the whole week dying cloth (exhausting stuff!) and working hard to figure out the direction of our small label Bainbridge&Houseberg. Finally, today, we may get to work on some of the bag designs for our Fall/Winter collection. It's been very hard work, but lots of fun.

One of the patterns I've been draughting recently.

at play ;)

I hope to have more images to show you soon.

In the midst of all of that, and quite unexpected, I was offered a full-time job, supervising the landscaping of a 30 hectare garden on a property owned by one of the richest men in the world... but can't tell you who!;) I took the job! I start next week. As if my life weren't crazy enough! I'm still be going to be continuing with my design work and all of the plans that go along with it (getting women involved, etc) and I'll be blogging when I can. Guess I'm going to be busy!

Hope everyone is doing well and I send my best wishes to you all :)

And one last thing. I have to tell you about Couture Millinery Atelier Check out this amazing blog and all of the fabulous creations featured there. I adore it!

Congrats on all those wonderful goings-on...I feel l-a-z-y compared to your activities! Had to chuckle - I live on a small island that has a southernmost peninsula "owned by one of the richest men in the world"...but I can't tell you who it is :>/

Enjoy your creative time, all looks beautiful!

congrats on your job -- I garden for money, too (but more part-time)...so I know how consuming it gets. I'd love to hear what you do to keep your hands in relatively good shape -- all that dyeing and digging must be hard on them! Sometimes I resort to those spa gloves at night, just to get an extra jazz of moisture.

your boys are darling. thanks for sharing their pictures.
